Greens Workshop

The Garden Club is hosting its annual greens workshop for anyone who is ready to decorate for the holiday season! We will provide all greens but participants are encouraged to bring some additional cuttings to share. In addition to locally sourced pine, spruce, and holly, purchased boxwood cuttings and floral foam will be provided.  A selection of containers will be available - but no wreaths. Participants should bring their own containers or wreaths to decorate. Everyone is welcome to make more than one design. We suggest bringing a small snack to share. We will provide coffee and cider. Cost is $20.

All are welcome.

Winter Festival
Sunday, December 9 , 2018

2:00 - 5:30 pm  Weston Town Green

The Women’s Community League of Weston is kicking off its centennial year with a community-wide Winter Festival on the Town Green on Sunday, December 9, 2018, from 2 to 5:30 pm. Working with town managers and many other Weston-based organizations, the WCL will host an event that has something for everyone - an ice skating rink, live music, fire pits, food, games, rides and activities for children, and a tree lighting ceremony.  Take a chance on our opportunity drawings and maybe take home a beautiful gingerbread house from our sponsored village.  Bring the whole family and be sure to tell your friends!

You can also show your Community spirit by volunteering to help staff this first annual event.  We have needs throughout the day.  Sign up using the sign up genius link.  Thank you!

Council On Aging Holiday Party
December 12, 2018

Let's bring the joy of the holidays to Weston senior citizens!

More than 70 attendees enjoyed this event last year, so WCL will make this a tradition and host a special Holiday Party for Weston seniors and their caregivers, at the Weston COA on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. WCL will decorate the party room, provide delicious food as well as live music from a classical guitarist, and each attendee and caregiver will receive a small gift.  It's a magical afternoon for so many. Please sign-up for this WCL Outreach event. Feel free to "buy or bake"!

No nuts please - Kindly have items on a platter with your name for easy retrieval.  Items are to be dropped off at the Weston COA prior to 11:00 am on December 12th.
